Event Description

We have Joel Chew and Franklin Armstrong returning to talk more in-depth about their views  coming to VANGUARD.  A continuation of their June 18 appearance is titled . . .

The WHATS of Product Development: Continual Discovery and Delivery to Achieve Greater Customer Value through Lean Agile.

Abstract:

Discussion of Lean & Agile practices and case examples are provided, including a Vision and Lean UX to deliver products and enhancements with high customer value.

Lean UX was built on the foundation of Lean Start-Up that leverages “build-measure-learn” to test assumptions and quickly incorporate customer feedback.

To understand, we will

  • elaborate on Lean UX principles with a specific example.
  • design a Sprint with a specific example.
  • use Dual Track Agile with a specific example.

This June 2019 presentation is a follow-up of “The WHYS of Product Development: Vision driven product development enabling Agile teams to discover and deliver ultimate customer value.”

The topics in this presentation will foster a “Serve and Enable Culture” for responding to changing customer needs.

Activity Included : A product development game

( This is a continuation of the presentation in June ( more at http://www.agilephilly.com/events/the-why-of-product-development ) which included many common anti-patterns as well as goals that projects should aspire to.

This presentation was selected to be one of 20 sessions at https://agilecamp.org/2019/newyorkmetro on Oct 4th. )
