Also of interest to Groovy/Grails people, Penn State Great Valley in Malvern is having a 7 week Intro course to Groovy and Grails.

The course is one night a week for 7 weeks, split between Groovy and Grails with 2 labs per session = 14 labs in total, and some homework besides.

Since it is Continuing Ed, there is no final exam ( and probably not a final project.) http://sgps.psu.edu/groovy-and-grails/default.ashx

$ 590 for the course that starts Tues March 8th
PSU Great Valley at Rte 202 and Rte 29 in Malvern is an a professional college - no undergrads allowed.
