-======== Our Theme This Year ============-
Philly hails her victor of Gettysburg,
General George Gordon Meade, of course.
And that fine little guy who served under him . . .
His nickname - Old Baldy - his Horse.
-========================================-
Five days prior is the 130th anniversary of the Statue of General Meade in Fairmount Park near the Please Touch Museum. Suitable suggestions on how to commemorate this are encouraged, starting with signing the petition to move his statue to City Hall.

The statue went up fifteen years after Meade’s death, in front of several thousand people and many Civil War veterans, on October 18th, 1887.
After the dedication, the Fairmount Park Art Association held a gala at the Union League downtown with six hundred guests including General Meade’s West Point classmates, a number of his personal staff and aids, many who had served under him when he commanded the Army of the Potomac.
Meade was a Philadelphia native and co-founder of Fairmount Park. But General Meade's most remembered accomplishment was his defeat of General Robert E Lee at Gettysburg on July 3rd, 1863.

The slide decks are at the top of the page http://www.agilephilly.com/page/agile-tour-2017-details where the Online Session Grid is. Not that many from the speakers, so I will have to send out a reminder to them, but first . . . The email about the cool upcoming topics this winter has go out. . . Nov 14th at Frontline is IMPACT MAPPING.
Hello, any update on the decks being available yet?
I'll add my thanks here. This was my first Agile Philly conference and I really enjoyed it and I have some things to immediately put to use. Thanks to all the coordinators, presenters, and attendees sharing at Lean Coffee et al. I went here looking for the presentation decks today because it was that good! I now see John Voris' comment so I'll check back in a few days.
Thanks John Voris for organizing such a great event. And thanks to all the speakers - I had a great time, and learned a lot from them and from the other attendees I met.
Copies of the slides from the speakers will be posted on this page in the next few days.
I had a great day of learning at yesterday's Agile Philly conference! Where can we find copies of the various presentations?
What a fantastic day of learning! Thank you to the organizers and presenters!
Have fun tomorrow. I always came away with learning new stuff to practice with my teams.
