Committed to helping members build better software

Hi All.

What do you think about the idea of tracking percentage of committed stories delivered in each sprint?

The idea is to avoid focus on velocity or story points. I also wanted to account for the fact that stories can vary in size. Finally, I would like a measure that can be used to evaluate individual teams and the group as a whole.

I like this idea a lot but have not seen any mention of it or something similar in the literature or community. Thoughts, questions, suggestions, comments?

Regards,

Paul

I like the idea also.  I'm just starting to include a similar metric on our weekly dashboard - for each team, number of stories not started, in progress, completed and closed (which means they originally added to sprint and then decided it didn't make sense for the sprint for some reason)
