Event Description

There is an 80 Year Old MOM-UMENT here in Pennsylvania.

On Sept. 4, 1938, the 8-ft. tall statue on a three-ton granite slab was unveiled by two local mothers -- at 88 and 91 years, Ashland Pennsylvania's oldest matriarchs at the time.

The Monument in Ashland PA is based on the painting of Whistler's Mother and is dedicated to MOMs everywhere.
