Event Description

The Microsoft Code Camps are Sold Out.

Just as the AgilePhilly Oct 5th Half Day Conference maxed out.

Original Posting . . . . Will you look at that !

Not to be outdone, Microsoft was so jealous of the AgilePhilly Half Day Conference in October that they have decided to insert one of their Code Camps into the week of AgilePhilly.

Well, we are magnanimous and will concede them some time in our week of Awesome Agile-ness.  Sheesh.

So in planning your week, you should have no trouble convincing your boss to let you out of work on both Monday and Friday for training - first for learning at the high Project Level - and then learning at the lower level of Coding.  They both need each other to be effective.  But of course, the shelf life for Coding particulars that you learn at Microsoft is short and fleeting.

What you learn at AgilePhilly lasts and lasts.

Of course, there may be some who may opt to skip both of these events and just concentrate on the visit to Philadelphia by the Dalai Lama on October 26th and his inspirational messages. ( I will not debate here if his Holiness has better views than the other "His Holiness" who just visited the city. ) But I think you need a sense of all three - Project - Coding - Serenity - to be effective and happy in your work.

Latest Update: The Dalai Lama postponed his trip to Philly due to illness.  Stay tuned for updates.
