Event Description

Member Rick Wargo runs the Philadelphia Business Intelligence User Group hosted at Microsoft in Malvern. This is a sub-group of PSSUG (Phil SQL Sever User Group is a chapter of PASS Professional Assoc of SQL Server ).

Their March 23 meeting at 5:30pm, Microsoft in Malvern, could use our help.

For the March meeting, he would like to do a meeting from an Agile perspective.

He would like someone who is willing to do a presentation (45min – 1 hour) on Agile and BI within their organization.

One approach might be a panel of a couple of people to "spread the load", so noone has to be overwhelmed and alone putting something together.   We could use a "Mob Programming" approach to have a basic train of thought and flesh it out as we go.  ( That sounds like a real Agile-ist way to go to me.)

Turns out we've recently done an Agile approach to BI last year so will postpone the Agile event until May or July. This month is on Embedded Power BI:

Introduction to Power BI Embedded - Chuck Rivel

Green Leaf will be presenting Power BI Embedded and how to utilize Power BI inside of your external applications. We will compare and contrast the features in Power BI Embedded to the Power BI portal and discuss what are the recommended use cases for both products.
