There are several different roles, personalities, and skillsets required on a project team to make it work successfully. There are times when significant issues may arise that affect people personally resulting in a broken trust. When trust is broken, the team entire team is severely challenged. The ability of the impacted team members to work together is sometimes volatile. The project team can suffer, all while trying to meet aggressive timelines, changing requirements, and other complexities and challenges. We are taught to always assume positive intent, but how can you assume positive intent when the circle of trust is broken? Does this lack of trust mean the team is broken, it cannot recover, and the project will suffer?
Absolutely not. Rebuilding trust takes hard work and must be earned. In this session, you will learn techniques to identify acknowledge, take responsibility, reframe, and focus on so that the team can get back on track and restore the trust.
