Craeg Strong has a class in Agile Leadership - Advancing Agility from Operational Team to Strategic portfolio Level
This is part of Okaloa FlowLab Workshop
with Patrick Steyaert and Arlette Vercammen who will travel to NYC from Belgium and deliver their Agile Okaloa Flowlab training.
. Patrick is the inventor of “Discovery Kanban,” a published author and world-renowned thought leader in the Agile space.
. His class includes a unique simulation environment that provides a fuller immersion for greatly accelerated learning.
. The techniques he teaches provide specific guidance on how to deal with tough issues like dependencies between multiple teams, long-term estimation, coordination and handoffs.
. This is a perfect complement to the Agile training (client) has had this past year.
. This training has helped transformed companies and projects throughout Europe, and we believe it can make a huge difference for complex/mission-critical projects like (upcoming mission-critical projects).
. It would be great if the (client) team leads, project managers, and program managers could attend this.
. Patrick and Arlette has offered this training many times in Europe but this is the first time in the US.
( This is a two day review of their four day class )

"By using Okaloa Flowlab, you step into the flight simulator for experiencing and practicing agility in a safe-to-fail environment. It differentiates itself from other lean&agile games by the fact that focus is on learning and not on winning the game. Okaloa Flowlab is a learning tool that should be weaved into your course material so that practice and theory can interchange. Built on the premise that experience must come before theory, with Okaloa Flowlab you do experiments through board-play style simulations that reflect real work environments."
