Event Description

Edward Everett Horton dies in 1970.

Known to your Great - Grandfolks for starring in films with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers Top Hat and The Gay Divorcee that came out during the Great Depression. 

He also is in the memorable films Here Comes Mr Jordan with Chester County's Claude Rains.   He also appears with Cary Grant in Arsenic and Old Lace.

Your Grandparents know him as the narrator for "Fractured Fairy Tales" seen in the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

He is named after Edward Everett, a family relation.  His couple-A-Greats-Uncle - who was the famous orator who preceded President Lincoln at the dedication of the National Cemetery in Gettysburg on November 19, 1863.  He spoke for two hours.  He even had a tent nearby in case he needed to pee in the middle of his speech.

Meetings are monthly. Get meeting reminders by joining here.  

  • Our events are Free but you must RSVP.  We have Evening Meetings in the Western Suburbs, usually on the Third Tuesday.  They usually begin at 6:30 pm.  A sample agenda would be:
    • 6:30-7:00 pm: Eat & Greet & Network
    • 7:00-8:20 Main Topic/Speaker
    • 8:20-8:30 Q & A , Pack-Up, More Networking

  • Our Sponsors cover the cost of pizza / sandwiches for an evening.

Our attempt with the group is to provide an environment where you can exchange ideas and meet with individuals involved in agile community.
