"This summer, as the Democratic National Convention comes to the birthplace of the republic, we invite you to participate in American Experiments. This nonpartisan showcase will gather some of the brightest minds in civic tech and democratic reform. It will be held the first day of the convention, July 25, at the University City Science Center in Philadelphia.
In the morning showcase, civic tech and reform organizations will share their best ideas for reinvigorating democracy at all levels, for improving voter access and information, and fostering more competitive and clean elections. In the afternoon, a select few organizations will participate in the Microsoft Challenge, a fast-paced Ignite-style presentation where six organizations will pitch their best ideas to the audience. Winning ideas will be featured in coverage by the event's national and regional media partners.
