Bob Dylan, known as America's Troubadour, was born on May 24, 1941.
He is a favorite of many generations, ranking with the Beach Boys and the Bee-Gees in this regard. He is also a recipient of a Nobel Prize for Literature in October 2016, and the first American since novelist Toni Morrison in 1993.
