Event Description

35 years later, the toxic ground at Bhopal India from a needless industrial accident at a Union Carbide plant is still a problem.

At 12:30 am,  40 tons of methyl isocyanate gas rolled down a peaceful valley to cover 40 square kilometers and created the worst environmental disaster in history.

An estimated 5295 perished

Bladder cancer is now common even in 4 year olds.

Of course, the molasses Flood in Boston on __- comes a close second.  Johnstown Flood was manmade, but the Gainesville Hurricane was a natural disaster.  The numbers are still being debated on Puerto Rico.

    • 8:20-8:30 Q & A , Pack-Up, More Networking

Our attempt with the group is to provide an environment where you can exchange ideas and meet with individuals involved in agile community.
