CCAD and Scrum

Combined Conditional Access Development (CCAD), is a unique environment for Scrum, its a 50-50 venture between Comcast, the largest cable operator in the United States, and Motorola, a global supplier of cable equipment and mobile equipment and services.

CCAD is working on, among other things, next-gen CA systems and multi-stream Cable CARDs based on Motorola's MediaCipher CA technology.

This talk is about CCAD's struggles with co-development and how Scrum helped. Mike will also talk about how Scrum helped internally and how they are addressing Motorola process requirements.

Chariot is located right off exit 339 of PA Turnpike.

* After Exit 339 tolls, proceed straight (this road will turn into Pennsylvania Avenue).
* At the 2nd traffic light, make a right onto Commerce Drive. You will pass our building which is located on the corner of Pennsylvania & Commerce.
* Make a right at the first driveway and find a parking spot.
* You are now located at the back of our building. Walk around to the front of the building to enter. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor.

If you are coming by train, the Walking Direction from Ft. Washington Train Station:

* When you reach the office building at 515 Pennsylvania Ave, go to the front of the building to enter. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
