** Call For Papers for the Philly ETE 2013 Agile Track **

The Call for Proposals for the 8th annual Philly Emerging Tech Conference is open through Friday January 15th, 2013. The event, which is also known as "Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise" and "Philly ETE," is set for Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3, 2012, at the Society Hill Sheraton in Philadelphia, near South Street and Old City.

The Philly Emerging Tech program always covers a diverse mix of languages, technologies and techniques. Our Agile Track has been exceptional every year. Speakers we've hosted in past years include "Uncle Bob" Martin, Andy Hunt, Venkat Subramaniam and Brian Marick.  Last year's agile line-up featured speakers such as James Shore (author of The Art of Agile Development) and Scott Chacon (CIO of Github). The complete speaker list from last year can be viewed here: http://phillyemergingtech.com/2012/speakers

To participate in the CFP, email the following to ETE2013_AgileCFP@chariotsolutions.com

* an abstract (up to 200 words, but we won't be counting),

* a brief bio,

* and optionally a supplemental statement making a case for your topic (which will not be printed on the website or the conference program).

* Also send us an alternative email address if you did not mail your proposal from the email address where you would prefer to hear from us.

Within 24 hours of submitting your proposal, you should receive confirmation that we received it. We will complete the selection process in the latter half of January. All participants can expect to hear from us on or before Friday, January 25th.

There is a limit of 3 proposals per person.

If your talk is accepted you'll receive a ticket to the conference -- and if you'll be traveling from outside the Philadelphia area, the conference will cover your flights or train fare, transportation to and from the airport or train station, and hotel room.

If you have any questions, send them to: ETE2013_AgileCFP@chariotsolutions.com.

If you submit a paper for the Agile CFP, we'll keep a ticket reserved for you up until a couple of days after we send out CFP notifications.

Sincerely,

Sujan Kapadia
