 ultana exploded and sank in the Mississippi River, killing an estimate
 d 1,200 to 1,800 Union soldiers who were released from prison and on t
 heir way home.\r\nIt had a capacity for 376 passengers and had over 25
 00 aboard.   The incentive was $5 for each man who boarded.\r\n \r\
 nThe sinking of the Sultana claimed more victims than the Titanic, yet
  the tragedy remains largely forgotten in American history\r\n \r\n
