SUMMARY:Requirements Engineering in Complex Environments using SAFe
DESCRIPTION:  FREE WEBINAR \r\nhttps://register.gotowebinar.com/regis

: Lean Agile Requirements Engineering in Large Scale Complex Environme
 nts\r\nTue May 8 @1 ET\r\n\r\nBuilding large-scale software and cyber-
physical systems (CPS) are one of the most complex and challenging end
eavors in the industry today.\r\nEmerging practices from industries li
ke Automotive, MedTec and Finance offer a different approach to handle
this inherent complexity. This new approach focuses on a solution cen
tric development, where the solution itself determines the kind of doc
umentation produced, not necessarily the methodology employed. This le
ads into a separation of transient (development life cycle dependent o
bjects) and solution objects.\r\n\r\nToday, in this VUCA-World, most c
omplex endeavors don't start as a green field. A considerable amount o
f existing solution documentation (such as architecture/s, models, des
ign decisions, and requirements) may have been accumulated over severa
l years or even decades. Additionally, in some industries, e.g. automo
tive suppliers, the expected lifespan of newly built solutions is more
than 20 years. This means that the future engineers who will work on
these systems are currently attending Kindergarden... We must take thi
s into consideration and ensure that current and evolving requirements
, design and intent are clearly stated and documented.\r\n\r\nTo this
end SAFe offers 'Solution Intent' which serves as a \"repository for s
toring, managing, and communicating the knowledge of current and inten
ded Solution behavior.\" This elegant solution allows us to capture th
e knowledge and the basic understanding of current and evolving requir
ements,\r\ndesign, and intent-that is, the larger purpose of the solut
ion.\r\n\r\nFor this webinar, join Peter Pedros, CEO and Founder of PE
DCO-Applied SAFe as we outline some of these emerging approaches and d
iscuss the pros and cons (based on experience with Applied SAFe, the i
mplementation of SAFe as a process model).\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r
