DESCRIPTION:August 6, 2022\r\nThe Mars rover Curiosity will have been 
 on Mars ten years (ten Earth years)\r\n\r\nIn December 2012, Curiosity
 's two-year mission was extended indefinitely, and on 5 August 2012, N
 ASA celebrated the arrival of the Curiosity.  The rover is still oper
 ational, Curiosity has been active on Mars for since its landing (see 
 its current status  here ).\r\n\r\nSomething that I was unaware of - 
 there is a 1909 Lincoln Penny on board.\r\n\r\nMAHLI (Mars Hand Lens I
 mager) can store either the raw images or do real time lossless predic
 tive or JPEG compression. The calibration target for MAHLI includes co
 lor references, a metric bar graphic, a 1909 VDB Lincoln penny, and a
